In June 2020, the first phase of a chemical wastewater pipeline project was successfully completed, supporting the transportation of chemical wastewater between the industrial park and the sewage treatment plant.

The pipeline had a total length of 16.6 kilometers and a diameter of 426 × 8 mm, with a total of 1,432 welding joints. The steel pipe adopted external 3PE anti-corrosion coating and internal epoxy anti-corrosion prefabrication, providing reliable corrosion protection for long-term operation.

A key feature of this project was that the entire pipeline was installed overhead on a pipe rack, with an average height of 3.5 meters above the ground. During construction, the pipeline sections were lifted by crane and aligned for installation, which required high standards of coordination, precision, and safety control.

With the support of pipeline robot equipment and efficient anti-corrosion solutions, the project achieved stable construction progress and high-quality pipeline protection performance. This case further demonstrated the practical value of pipeline robotic equipment in overhead pipeline installation and industrial wastewater transportation projects.
